SATC Sexy Red Carpet Eyes

Metallic Eyes for Spring & Summer

Metallics were everywhere on the red carpet for the premiere of the New Sexy and the City movie. From metallic gowns and dresses, to shoes, handbags, and make-up. It was a very glamorous evening and one that has been receiving lots of press.

The ladies from Sex and the City didn’t disappoint, and new comer Jennifer Hudson was beautifully in line with her gorgeous metallic eyes. Her alluring gaze was infused with striking shades of golds, and ambers just in time for summer.

To get the look Beth suggests using metallic eyeshadows in gold, ambers, and bronze tones. They’re easy to blend and look beautiful on most skin tones. You will also have more freedom coordinating with your wardrobe since metallics take on different hues in the light.

For super sexy eyes like Jennifer’s beth suggests using her new Smoky eye kit in SGB. It also has a smoky eye and cat eye stencil for those gals who want to go Hollywood sexy.

Retro smoky eyes for spring

Go pink for spring Everyone’s going pink and purple for spring. Light colored smoky eyes have been popping up everywhere from the red carpet, to fashion shows, celebrity social events, and even the local super markets.

Get The Look:: This is such a fresh look for spring or summer,” says makeup artist Beth Bender, of beth bender beauty Los Angeles. “her skin is sheer, yet radiant and her smoky eyes in pinks and lavenders are so pretty.” Especially when paired with a soft pink blush as seen here. The result is an instant glow that is just beautiful!

Beth’s Beauty Tip: Because the eyes are light add an extra pop of color using a deep violet or purple liner. Beth suggests using her newest Get in Line Eyeshadow palette in TDF. A trio of three beautiful shimmers, in Lavender, Deep Purple, and Metallic Pink. Use the Purple for contouring if you desire and to line the eyes. Colors can be worn wet or dry and include a smoky eye stencil and cat eye stencil to create beautiful eyes in minutes.

For sweet pink cheeks Beth suggests using her powder blush in A Little Crush. A great shade for spring or summer and a fave on the set of Dirt and Desperate Housewives.
