Hot Look: Shimmery shadows are everywhere this season. "The most flattering ones have a neutral peach, beige, or taupe base and are flecked with gold or silver glimmer," says makeup artist Beth Bender. Summer is not always about looking heavily made up, so sweep them on only from your lash line to just above the crease and use a light touch with mascara.One of her fav's is: DiorShow mascara, $23.

Why it's so sexy: Sparkling eyes communicate a sparkling personality, a sense of humor, and a mischievous spirit. There's also an inherent intimacy in inviting someone to lock orbs with you. "Eyes are expressive; we read a lot about thoughts and feelings from them," says bender whose original beauty line began with just eye products. "Eyes that Shimmer call attention to them, which can indicate that you have something to say to him and you're confident about doing so."

Our good friend Jay-Jay recently stopped by the set of Private Practice to drop off some beth bender beauty goodies. One of them was an SGB Kit new from Get in Line for Kate Walsh. Seen here wearing the new palette in bronze and gold tones.

To get Kate’s look use the Get in Line Smoky Eye Trio in SGB, a must have eyeshadow palette for creating eyes as sexy as Kate’s. Brush the Golden Beige shade onto the eyelid and contour the crease of eye with deep bronze. Mix the deep bronze and golden tan together and line underneath eye as seen here on Kate.

For sultry eyes that are sure to turn a few heads use Stay Put Gel Liner in Onyx, and line the eyes with a flat tapered brush. Make sure to line as close to the lashline as possible.
