SMOKY EYES THAT SHIMMER

Charlize Theron's Red Carpet Beauty

get the look

This dazzling beauty always looks gorgeous on and off the Red Carpet. Her Style is sexy and sophisticated and her make-up is always flawless. Bronze and golden shimmers for the eyes have been seen everywhere from celebrity luncheons here in Hollywood to almost every movie premiere this spring and summer. The easiest and most cost effective way to create these sexy eyes is to opt for an eyeshadow kit that contains all of the eye colors needed.

To get the look beth suggests using the Get in Line Smoky Eye Trio in SGB, a must have eyeshadow palette for creating eyes as sexy as Charlize's. Brush the Golden Beige shade onto the eyelid and contour the crease of eye with the deep bronze shimmer. Mix the deep bronze and golden tan together and line underneath the eye as seen here on Charlize.

For sultry eyes that are sure to turn a few heads use a Gel Liner in Onyx, and line the eyes with a flat tapered brush. Make sure to line as close to the lashline as possible. Finish with a rich black mascara and don't forget the cheeks and lips. A soft peach cheek color with gold undertones goes perfectly with your sunkissed eyes.

beth bender beauty On Set

Sexy smoky eyes rule.More sexy eyes could be seen on DWTS last night on ABC. Cheryl Burke and Edyta Sliwinska each were sporting gorgeous eyes thanks to our good friend and artist to the stars Nani, who was once again on hand to work her magic.

Using her Get in Line palette in NFW on Edyta she did the most beautiful smoky eyes evah! She is so stunning to begin with but my god those eyes were just gorgeous. On Cheryl she used the SGB for a sunkissed smoky eye. Of course she didn’t leave without making sure that the ladies had some goodies for later on.

Spring Beauty Trends

Red Carpet Style Watch

Pearlescent eye shimmers for spring

As we begin the spring season look for lots of light eye shimmers on the red carpet. As seen here on Leighton Meester who very confidently is batting a sparkling shimmery eye and looking quite beautiful.

To get Leighton’s look start by lining the inside of eyes with a soft deep purple eyeliner. Try Black purple 6L $16, from Make Up Forever. With the same pencil line the corners of eyes and blend into lashline. For a more dramatic look make the outer corners thicker as seen here on Leighton.

Next using a shimmer cream shadow apply over your entire eyelid and along the lower lashline. Use your fingers to do both. Try Lilac Opalescence, $16 from beth bender beauty.

Finally, finish by sweeping a golden beige shimmer shadow into the crease using a blender brush for a perfect application. Try Ambra Eye Dust, $16 from beth bender beauty.

Katie Holmes Does A Sultry Smoky Eye

Katie Holmes always looks great, whether she's running around with baby Suri or walking the red carpet her beauty style is working. Her recent smoldering eyes and pale lips as seen here inspired us once again to share our beauty tips and let you in on the best way to get this look.

Start with perfecting the skin using Liquid Canvas Healthy Fluid Foundation, $48.50 from Vincent Longo. Apply with a brush for light coverage and a sponge for medium to full coverage.

For flawless eyes begin by applying a darker color to the eyelid using a smoky eye stencil for the perfect shape. Try Get in Line from Beth Bender Beauty. Hold the stencil over the eye and using your brush fill in with color. Remove stencil and blend with brush to soften the line in a windshield wiper motion blending out and away from the eye. Repeat the same on other eye and finish by applying a base shade from the brow bone to the crease of eye as seen here on Katie. Next, add extra depth by lining the inside rim of the eyes with a deep black liner, like Prescriptives Softlining Pencil in Jet.

Get the most length out of your lashes with a great mascara. We like deep black Diorshow Mascara. Apply two coat for lashes that will have heads spinning! Dab some Kitty Cream Blush from Beth Bender Beauty on the cheeks and top off with NARS Lip Lacquer in Chelsea Girls and you’re red carpet-ready too!

xoxo,
