Who says you can’t have perfect eyeliner all the time Kaley Cuoco on the set of The Big Bang Theory. Kaley was one of the models at the Virgin Fashion Rocks fashion show a few years back. We did the make-up for the show and she went nuts over the Get in Line kit. The make up was outrageous and she was loving her cat eye. Our celebrity look of the week is Rachel Bilson. Rachel’s perfectly lined eyes have become a part of her trademark look. Her features are petite and so striking. She has great style and her makeup always looks beautiful.

For defined eyes like Rachel’s start by lining them top and bottom with an eyeliner pencil first. A good one to try is Prescriptives Softening Pencil in Black. With a smudge tip brush blend the color into the lash line. Set the color with a powder shadow to prevent the color from bleeding and soften the line.

To get the powder liner perfect on both top and bottom try the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit. Place the bottom liner stencil underneath the eye and make the line as thick or as thin as you like depending on where you place it. Repeat the same on top with the top eyeliner stencil. Give your lashes at least one coat of your favorite black mascara and make sure to coat both the top and underneath of your lashes. It really makes a difference. Our good friend and makeup artist E-jay was backstage doing touch ups and had the pleasure of touching up Miss Underwood. Tory Burch fall 2008 Collection

The make up for Tory Burch was beautiful and matched well with the clothes which were structured and very defined. Bobbi Brown and her team of artists did a beautiful job. Prominent cheekbones could be seen on every model and gorgeous eyes that put the smoke in smoky.

Insider Trick: To create the illusion of prominent cheekbones Bobbi swirled a mauve blush onto the apples of cheeks and then patted a lip balm high up on the cheekbones to catch the light. For those who prefer something a little less sticky try a cream shimmer and apply to the same part of cheekbones.

Event At Lebec Beauty Boutique

Yesterday’s Valentine’s event at Lebec Beauty Boutique was a great success. Located in Rancho Cucamonga, California and the perfect setting for our first event together. From the minute we began Lebec and I were busy doing makeup. I was doing demo’s of the Get in Line Eyeliner Kit and Lebec was creating beautiful faces on every woman who sat in her chair.

Her beauty boutique is filled with amazing product from custom blended powders and foundations, to gorgeous eye shadows, liners, glosses, brushes, brush sets and pouches and so much more! Women were leaving with lots of goodies and when the event was near ending most of them were still there.
Women of all ages waited to try the Get in Line Eyeliner Kit and were very pleased when they saw how easy it was to create perfect smoky eyes and cat eyes in minutes. I would do one eye and then have them do the other. The kit is exclusive to her boutique and is available in the kit or Travel Set.

Angelina Jolie Glows At The SAG Awards

Angelina Jolie Is Pregnant

It’s confirmed! Angelina Jolie is pregnant again. Rumors have been flying that say she is expecting twins but she is definitely pregnant. She looked absolutely radiant at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Sources close to us said that she had turned down a movie role that would begin shooting in the next few months because of her pregnancy. This will make baby number five and who knows how many more after this.

I was away shooting on the day of the awards but was told by a friend who attended that Angelina was sporting her trademark cat eye and said her make up looked flawless.

Beth Bender Beauty Gets A Nod

Months ago we sent a goody bag of beauty products to a gal in New York who was writing a book on relationships with her husband. The book title was “Why Hasn’t He Called?”

A book about how guys think and how to get a guy to stay interested in you without falling back into patterns that can hurt a good relationship. I loved the idea and was happy to offer whatever beauty advice they needed.

I spent some time chatting with one of the editor’s and emailed my beauty tips to Tamsen. Who I later found out was WCBS-TV reporter Tamsen Fadel and whose husband is Mat Titus founder of Matt’s Little Black Book, a Manhattan Matchmaking Agency. Together they star in Matched in Manhattan. A new reality show on Lifetime that features Mat and Tamsen helping men and women in New York find true love.

Tamsen was an absolute doll and loved the tips I sent, most of them about enhancing your eyes. Yesterday we received and email saying that Beth Bender Beauty had been included in the book and that Tamsen herself was quoted as saying ” The fun, playful packaging of this makeup line is nearly as fantastic as the gorgeous, fresh makeup itself”

We were so happy about the news and can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of the book. At the moment “Why Hasn’t He Called?” is available at Amazon and in a week will be at both Barnes & Noble and Border’s. I urge anyone looking for advice on how to meet the right guy or gal to check out this book.

Get Perfect Eyeliner Everytime

It seems that Color on Pro whose idea was similar to the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit has gotten another bad wrap. This time from page six of the New York Post. They fell right above Tom Cruise’s wacky interview that everyone here in Hollywood can’t stop talking about.

Well not to be partial or anything but I can’t say that I’m surprised. One of the biggest complaints was that there seemed to be very little shadow on the eyes and much more on the sticker it self. They might be slightly less expensive but when everything is said and done are you even getting what you want and once you’ve used them up you have to spend another $30?
