Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Stencils That Work

The other day I was surfing the net and found a video showing how you can take apart a plastic insert from packaging and turn it into an eyeliner stencil. Well I of course had to watch because based on the type of plastic that was being used I knew this would not be an easy task and it wasn’t.

First of all let me start by saying that I have been doing make-up for years and I have never seen a make-up artist use anything of the sort. Credit cards yes, but never this. Not to mention that the type of plastic he was using was not flexible and very sharp when placed anywhere near the eye.

So you might be saving money but who wants to risk poking yourself in the eye or cutting yourself just to have a sexy cat eye or smoky eye? That isn’t a look I ever want to see. Make-up artists do use eyeliner stencils when they need to, and when they do they use our eyeliner stencils. There are a few who have tried their best to duplicate ours but nothing works as well as the Get in Line Eyeliner Stencils.

Quick Beauty Tips For Hollywood Eyes

GET THE LOOK: Thick Cleopatra like eyeliner goes well with smoky eyes, but if you want to subtly simmer, try a gradually thinning line, seen here on Angelina Jolie. Use a gel liner to draw a thin rim along upper lashlines. Try Onyx from beth bender beauty. Go over the outer half of each eye one more time, and extend slightly beyond the eye.

INSIDER TRICK: The secret to this look: Line the bottom corner of each eye to accentuate the outer edge and create an exotic almond shape. If done correctly, outer corners will look like a sideways capital Y.

Party Perfect Beauty Tips

The Holidays are in full swing and what better time to share a few tips and keep your make-up and hair looking fresh and fabulous.

To keep you lips from smudging Beth says to apply just a little lip color or a lip stain instead of a creamy lipstick and blot the excess with a tissue. To prevent lipstick on teeth, after applying place your index finger in your mouth and close your lips over it. Then gently pull out. Finish with a touch of gloss for extra shine.

For eye-makeup that stays put, Beth says to dust a bit of translucent powder over the eye first before applying color. This will absorb the oils and ensure longer lasting color.
