Did anyone happen to catch Britney sporting a new British accent last week while shopping with her already over with close friend Adnan Ghalib? What was that all about? Poor thing. Seen…shopping for a new top and came out wearing one of Betsey Johnson’s cute sweaters. I have two myself, they are so darling.

Did anyone happen to see her whip out her Ooh baby Lip gloss to touch up her lips? That color went perfectly with her new sweater. Even with all of the turmoil that follows her she still manages to find time to give her lips some loving. We do love you Britney.

Seen…Mischa Barton at L.A. nightclub Teddy’s earlier this month. Our beauty spy’s tell us she spent more than a few minutes checking out her eyeliner and adding some Onyx Gel liner to her already lined eyes.

Party Perfect Beauty Tips

The Holidays are in full swing and what better time to share a few tips and keep your make-up and hair looking fresh and fabulous.

To keep you lips from smudging Beth says to apply just a little lip color or a lip stain instead of a creamy lipstick and blot the excess with a tissue. To prevent lipstick on teeth, after applying place your index finger in your mouth and close your lips over it. Then gently pull out. Finish with a touch of gloss for extra shine.

For eye-makeup that stays put, Beth says to dust a bit of translucent powder over the eye first before applying color. This will absorb the oils and ensure longer lasting color. For eyeliner with staying power try using a Gel eyeliner instead of a pencil. It’s water resistant and when set with a powder shadow will not budge for hours and hours.

For hair that won’t behave and flyaways that continue to drive you mad throughout the night, Beth suggests using a hand lotion to smooth strands. Rub a tiny amount of lotion between palms and then lightly run hands over your style. If your hair is fine apply only a tiny, tiny amount.

Celebrity Holiday Looks

Scarlett’s Sexy Holiday Look

This is such a beautiful look anytime. Scarlett’s skin is glowing and her metallic silver shadow is the perfect shade to compliment her soft peach cheeks and sheer but very shiny lips.

Make-up artist Beth Bender suggests adding a few lashes to the ends of each eye for even more dazzle as seen here on Scarlett.

To get this look start by applying a silver shadow directly onto the eyelid. Try Double-o-Silver, $16 at bettesboutique.com. It goes on easy and looks even more amazing when you dampen your brush first before applying. You can leave the brow bone alone or add a touch of light base shadow to highlight.

To get perfect eyeliner use your top liner stencil and hold in place while brushing your eye shadow along the line. Use a dark charcoal shadow and dampen the brush first for a darker line. Remove top eyeliner stencil and repeat on the other eye.

If you prefer you can use a Gel Liner instead of a powder to line the eyes as seen here. Try Onyx, $18 at BethBender Beauty.com. To finish the eyes add a few lash clusters to the ends of each eye. When the glue has dried, usually in a minute or two, curl your lashes and apply two coats of black mascara. Try Here to Stay, $19.50 at prescriptives.com.

On the cheeks use a light peach blush and apply to the apple of cheeks blending up along cheek bones and into hairline. Try Orgasm Powder Blush from Nars. If you prefer a cream instead of powder, try Scarlett’s new fav, Kitty Cream Blush, $18 at Beth Bender Beauty.

Julia Roberts lighting up the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest flick "Charlie Wilson's War". Perfect Cat Eyes with The Get in Line Kit

How to get your cat eyes purrfect..

The Get in Line stencil kit is the quickest way to get sexy cat eyes in minutes. The stencils are made from a soft PVC plastic to fit any eye shape. Cat eyes have been seen everywhere from the runway, to fashion ads, to the long list of celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendes and Rhianna, who can usually be seen sporting one.

To use the stencils and create a sexy cat eye on yourself simply place the stencil labeled cat eye over a closed eye, making sure your lashes are poking through the opening, as seen in the picture below.

Place the stencil closer to your lash line for a thinner cat eye and slightly higher for a thicker more dramatic cat eye as seen here on the model. Choose either the full or tapered end of the brush. We like to use the fuller end of the brush slightly dampened, but either side works well. Choose a color and sweep the brush slowly across the lid making sure to brush color up into the point of the cat eye for a more precise look.

Remove stencil, wipe away any eyeshadow and repeat the same steps on the other eye. Once you have both eyes done you can add more eyeshadow if you desire a more intense eye. Use the tapered end of brush slightly damp to go over the cat eye.

We have been having so much fun with these celeb looks and have been getting a lot of requests for Scarlett Johansson. This is one of my favorite photo's of her and thought why not use this for" Get the look". I love the way the bronze shimmer shadow brings out the color of her eyes. They look Gorgeous and her skin looks luminous!

Starting with the eyes apply a shimmer shadow with a metallic palette. Choose two hues: one gold and one bronze. Dust the gold tone along lids, then brush the bronze hue slightly above and into the crease of eye. Try Ambra eye dust and Brown Sugar(bronze shimmer) both from Beth Bender Beauty. Jennifer Garner has a such a great look and her make-up always looks so fresh. To create this look on yourself start with a tinted moisturizer and apply a thin layer with your fingers or a sponge. For an even lighter application mix with your favorite moisturizer before applying.

Scarlett Johansson's New Look

Kristen from Beautyaddict recently wrote about Scarlett Johansson's cover look for this months issue of Elle. As you know I adore Scarlett and think she is beautiful. She has been a fan of the Get in Line Stencil kit ever since we started selling it. She has great style and that is why I am so surprised that she was okay with this photo. Her skin looks washed out, her expression is blase, and I wonder what is going on with the dark brows that I have been seeing so much of lately. It is just not flattering and I can't imagine how this photo was approved for the cover.
