Sultry Smoky Eye Makeup

CELEBRITY BEAUTY-HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL STYLE

GET THE LOOK: Vanessa still looking very bronzed in this photo from touring in Mexico was in good hands when makeup artist Brett Freedman worked his magic. Playing up her glow with makeup that suited her luminous skin and lots of mascara to make those gorgeous eyes pop.

To get Vanessa’s look Bender suggests starting with a touch of DoubleGlow7 from Duwop, a luminous face balm that gives you instant radiance and a must have beauty product. Apply directly to the cheekbones, brow bones, and wherever else you want a beautiful sheen. Can be worn alone or under foundation. Use a cream bronzer and apply to the apple of cheeks blending into hairline. Sweep a rich chocolate shadow all over your eyelids and follow with a light shimmer applied on the lids below the crease. Finish with a few coats of black mascara and make sure to wiggle the wand from the lash roots to the tips for lashes that are sexy and clump free.

BUY ONLINE NOW: Get in Line Eyeliner Kit, $36, DoubleGlow7, $25 , Pink Petal eye shimmer, $16, Cream Bronzer Spring Break, $18, Shu Uemura Basic Black Mascara, $27.50

Lash Flash For Gorgeous Lashes and Eyes

kelly-ripa-false-lashes.jpg

Want a gorgeous gaze like Kelly Ripa? Try adding a few lash clusters to the ends of each upper lashline. You’ll build sexy volume only where you need it and they are so easy to use.

To do Beth suggests adding a dot of glue to the back of one hand and then dabbing the knot of lash into the glue. Slip the lash into the lashline without touching the eyelid and wait at least 30 seconds before applying the next cluster.

Once all of the lashes have been applied wait for a few minutes until the glue is dry and go over lashes with one or two coats of mascara.

For sultry sexy cat eyes as seen here on Kelly, start by using your Get in Line Eyeliner Stencil System to create perfect cat eyes and then finish with the lashes.

How to Create Sultry Smoky Eyes

Smoky eyes are sexy for evening, and using rich blue shades is sometimes a nice change in place of black. Start by getting the perfect smoky eye shape using your Get in Line Stencil kit or Travel set. Place the stencil over your eyelid and fill in with a navy shadow. We used Betty Blu Eye Dust from Beth Bender Beauty and then went over again using our fingers for a more intense look.

Concentrating on your upper lash line will also give the illusion of very thick lashes. Drag some shadow along your lower lash line using the same smoky eye stencil marked bottom. Holding the stencil underneath your eye, dip your brush into the shadow and sweep the color along the stencil for a perfect line. Finish with two coats of mascara, my new favorite is Here to Stay from Prescriptives. Your lashes will look thick and long without looking clumpy.
