Sexy smoky eyes rule.More sexy eyes could be seen on DWTS last night on ABC. Cheryl Burke and Edyta Sliwinska each were sporting gorgeous eyes thanks to our good friend and artist to the stars Nani, who was once again on hand to work her magic.

Using her Get in Line palette in NFW on Edyta she did the most beautiful smoky eyes evah! She is so stunning to begin with but my god those eyes were just gorgeous. On Cheryl she used the SGB for a sunkissed smoky eye. Of course she didn’t leave without making sure that the ladies had some goodies for later on.

Celebrities Wearing Beth Bender Beauty

I SPY BETH BENDER BEAUTY… Britney Spears checking out the latest goods at Fred Segals, but not before checking her perfect pout out while strolling through the beauty department. Our little spies tell us she dug out a pot of gloss from her purse and one of the sales girls commented on how cute the hand painted flower was. Britney replied “thank you, you should taste the gloss. Oh my gosh I want to eat it.” The color and one of our favs, Happy high shine gloss.

SEEN Scarlett Johansson with beau Ryan Reynolds in Vegas for her mom’s wedding. Our little surfer girl looked beautiful on Oscar night with a pale pink gown and make up that was radiant throughout the evening. Her sun kissed glow, bronzed goddess like eyelids and pale pink lips were the perfect compliment to her swept back do.

To get Cameron’s sexy look start with a tinted moisturizer first and apply with a brush for a more sheer application. We like Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer, it goes on sheer and gives the skin a healthy glow.

Next apply a Bronzing Powder in a peachy gold tone. Try Just Peachy from beth bender beauty. Using a bronzer brush apply to the cheeks, a touch on the forehead and bridge of nose to add warmth to the entire face.

Create your sultry smoky eyes in golden and bronze tones blending two colors together before applying to the eye. Try Ambra Eye Dust and Ginger Eye Dust both from beth bender. Our celebrity look of the week is Rachel Bilson. Rachel’s perfectly lined eyes have become a part of her trademark look. Her features are petite and so striking. She has great style and her makeup always looks beautiful.

For defined eyes like Rachel’s start by lining them top and bottom with an eyeliner pencil first. A good one to try is Prescriptives Softening Pencil in Black. With a smudge tip brush blend the color into the lash line. Set the color with a powder shadow to prevent the color from bleeding and soften the line.

To get the powder liner perfect on both top and bottom try the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit. Place the bottom liner stencil underneath the eye and make the line as thick or as thin as you like depending on where you place it. Repeat the same on top with the top eyeliner stencil. Give your lashes at least one coat of your favorite black mascara and make sure to coat both the top and underneath of your lashes. It really makes a difference. Rachel’s rosy pink blush give her skin a lovely radiance. To get this look using a blush brush swirl the color on the apple of your cheeks and blend along the cheekbone. Amanda Bynes has really grown up and I just loved her whole look from top to bottom. Her hair, flawless make up and gorgeous gown from Marchesa. Her eyes looked beautiful and very striking. My kind of look.

To capture Amanda’s gorgeous make up start with the eyes first. Focusing on the outer corner as seen here. Using a coffee shimmer shadow, try Ambra Eyeshadow $16 from Beth Bender. Apply color from the center of eye and extend out making slightly heavier at the ends. Take the same color and sweep under the eyes as seen here.

With a lighter shimmer shadow and clean brush apply color from the inner corner of the eye to the center of eye and blend well. I like Bobbi Browns Champagne Shimmer Shadow. It goes on like butter and blends easily. Take the same Champagne color and apply to the bottom corner of inner eye and brow bone to give the eyes a polished look.

For eyes that look even more dramatic line as close to the lash line with a black gel eyeliner. It will make you lashes look even thicker and give the eyes a super sultry look. I like Onyx Gel Liner from beth bender beauty. Plus it’s water resistant, smudge-proof, and stays put all night long.

For the face keep the skin sheer and light with color. Use a tinted moisturizer to give the skin an instant glow. Try Stila’s Illuminating Tint Moisturizer, $28 at Sephora. Add a touch of powder blush in Desert Rose, $20 from Bobbi Brown. This color is gorgeous, looks great on gals with fair skin or olive undertones and stays put for hours.

Beth Bender Beauty Gets A Nod

Months ago we sent a goody bag of beauty products to a gal in New York who was writing a book on relationships with her husband. The book title was “Why Hasn’t He Called?”

A book about how guys think and how to get a guy to stay interested in you without falling back into patterns that can hurt a good relationship. I loved the idea and was happy to offer whatever beauty advice they needed.

I spent some time chatting with one of the editor’s and emailed my beauty tips to Tamsen. Who I later found out was WCBS-TV reporter Tamsen Fadel and whose husband is Mat Titus founder of Matt’s Little Black Book, a Manhattan Matchmaking Agency. Together they star in Matched in Manhattan. A new reality show on Lifetime that features Mat and Tamsen helping men and women in New York find true love.

Tamsen was an absolute doll and loved the tips I sent, most of them about enhancing your eyes. Yesterday we received and email saying that Beth Bender Beauty had been included in the book and that Tamsen herself was quoted as saying ” The fun, playful packaging of this makeup line is nearly as fantastic as the gorgeous, fresh makeup itself”

We were so happy about the news and can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of the book. At the moment “Why Hasn’t He Called?” is available at Amazon and in a week will be at both Barnes & Noble and Border’s. I urge anyone looking for advice on how to meet the right guy or gal to check out this book.

How to Choose The Right Lip Color

Coral lips are back for spring and looking good on Rachel Bilson. I don’t think I have ever seen her look bad. Make sure to choose a coral that works best for your coloring. If you’re fair and have more pink in your skin then choose a coral shade that has blue undertones. If your complexion is warmer go for a lip color with warm or yellow undertones. Try Claret SPF Lip Shine, $19 from Bobbi Brown which looks beautiful on both fair and darker skin tones.

If you’re looking for shine and hydrating lip color try Sophia Beauty Balm, $10 at beth bender beauty. If you’re a gloss girl like me then go with Dahlia glam gloss, $16 at Beth Bender Beauty.

Beth Bender's Beauty Finds

Calvin Klein make up is back and better then ever. I was a fan when his first beauty line launched in the late 90's. This was years before I started Beth Bender Beauty and created the Get in Line eyeliner kit. I fell in love with his eye pencils and still have three of them that I still use on jobs. They are fantastic and I am hoping that the new ones will be just as good. His eye shadows were also fabulous and I hope those haven't changed either. The packaging has but it looks like for the better because that was one of the flaws in the first line.

The new beauty line is quite large and includes everything for faces, lips, eyes and nails. The new line was developed by the ck Calvin Klein team, including Mark Carrasquillo, the company's newly named Global Makeup Artist, and Kevin Carrigan, Creative Director of ck Calvin Klein beauty and apparel.

The full line is not yet available in the states except for the glosses which are available at sephora. This is such a drag because there are so many women who would love to check it out. If you happen to make it as far as Hong Kong you might want grab a few eyeliners and eye shadows.

Give Me Smoky Eyes Like Lindsay Lohan

We are well into the new year and smoky eyes are still ruling the red carpet. The color palettes are softer but the smoky eye is still hot. Lindsay Lohan is a big fan of the smoky eye and her green eyes look even greener in this photo.

Want to get sexy smoky eyes like Lindsay? Try using a dark grey shadow mixed with a touch of charcoal shimmer shadow. Line underneath with the charcoal shimmer and finish by lining the inside rim with a black pencil. Adding a few individual lash clusters to the ends of each eye as seen here on Lindsay will make the eyes pop even more.

Sultry Smoky Eyes and Fushia Lips

Kiera Knightley’s smoky eyes look gorgeous and her fushia lips are giving them a run for their money. This latest incarnation of the bold red lip but with cooler tones looks powerful and oh so sweet!

To get these pretty lips like Keira, Beth suggests smiling while you apply your lip color. It stretches the lip and allows you to coat the entire surface exposing every furrow to be filled in with pigment.

Get Sexy Hollywood Eyes Like Beyonce

Nothing makes the white of your eyes stand out more than lining them with an indigo liner says celebrity artist Beth Bender. As seen on Beyonce here. To get this crisp blue-bordered gaze, start by wetting a slant tip eyeliner brush. It will allow for a more precise line and a deeper color.

Lash Flash For Gorgeous Lashes and Eyes

Want a gorgeous gaze like Kelly Ripa? Try adding a few lash clusters to the ends of each upper lashline. You’ll build sexy volume only where you need it and they are so easy to use.

To do Beth suggests adding a dot of glue to the back of one hand and then dabbing the knot of lash into the glue. Slip the lash into the lashline without touching the eyelid and wait at least 30 seconds before applying the next cluster.

Once all of the lashes have been applied wait for a few minutes until the glue is dry and go over lashes with one or two coats of mascara.
